What is PBIS? Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, data-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school’s sense of safety and support improved academic outcomes. More than 1,400 Georgia schools and 27,000 nationwide have been trained in PBIS. Thank you for supporting our PBIS recognition efforts!

PBIS Rewards and Recognition at Sims Elementary

At Sims Elementary School, we recognize our scholars for following the Essential Agreements which are, "We are kindhearted scholarly leaders who problem solve". Following the Essential Agreements, help scholars focus on making decisions that impact their academic and behavior in a positive way. One major leadership component of our PBIS framework is our grade level president and vice-presidential elections. Elected scholars work alongside the PBIS leadership team to share ideas regarding the PBIS framework. Your support would provide items for scholars to make purchases at the school's PBIS store, grade-level celebrations, and the inauguration of our newly elected PBIS presidents and vice-presidents. We humbly ask for your consideration to support our efforts however you can. Thank you!

PBIS Perfect Attendance at Heritage High School

PBIS is an important framework utilized at Heritage for students and faculty. The money would be used to celebrate and recognize the students and faculty members with perfect attendance. The funds will be used for incentives such as a perfect attendance wall of fame, perfect attendance shirts, perfect attendance awards, perfect attendance luncheon, or a perfect attendance field day just for a few examples to recognize the teachers and students that are influencing the others to be present. We S.E.T. the Stage for Excellence at HHS.

PBIS Mustang of the Month at Flat Shoals Elementary

As part of PBIS, we recognize our students who meet or exceed FSE's PBIS expectations.  Individually, students are awarded the Mustang of the Month and as a class in the cafeteria, a class will receive the Golden Plate award.  Both of these awards encourage positive behavior throughout the school and throughout the school day.  Ongoing recognition, praise, and positive reinforcement for positive behaviors is the hallmark of PBIS and these programs: Mustang of the Month and Golden Plate are highlights at FSE.  This funding will allow us to purchase items that increases the level of recognition for the recipients.  The funds will be used to purchase buttons, small labels, and other items that will supplement the reward items already provided.  As we recognize over 330 students per year through our PBIS activities, being sure that we have adequate amounts to provide the additional items for these two events is important.  Thank you for supporting our program!
